 Frequently Asked Questions
 How do I login?
  • All usernames and passwords are Case Sensitive. Be sure that you are entering these items exactly as you did upon registration.
  • Make sure there are not any hidden or extra spaces before or after your username or password. To check, click after your entry and backspace to be sure that you’ve eliminated any spaces that were not visible to you.
  • Try typing in you usernames and password rather than copying and pasting it in from an outside field. If you are copying and pasting, unknown spaces might be included.
  • If you have attempted to log in several times with incorrect login credentials, the system will lock you out as a security precaution. This feature will reset automatically after a period of time, or you can contact Quest CE at 855.343.0848 to have a client services specialist reset your profile.
 How do I login?

Starting at the initial login page, https://learn.questce.com/naicsuitability, we suggest that you try to log in using your SSN and last name because some Carriers have pre-loaded their producers into the system which would allow you to start off further in the registration process. You will still need to select your Carrier and Broker Dealer associations.

I entered my SSN and last name to sign on for the first time and it says "Please Try Again". What should I do?

Use the Register tab on the left side of your screen to begin the process of entering your personal information needed to create your profile and login for the first time.

I don't know which Product Specific Training Courses I need to take.

When you reach Step 2 of the registration process, you are asked to select both your Broker Dealer and any Carriers you are associated with. Based on your selections, the specific courses you need to complete will populate automatically in Step 3 to be added to your Student Dashboard.

Do I need to notify my Broker Dealer or Carrier when I have completed the training courses?

Unless you have been told otherwise internally, you do not need to notify your Broker Dealer or Carrier once you’ve completed the State or Product specific training. Your Broker Dealer and Carrier administrators have access to your training status and completion records on the Administrative side of the training portal. You always have the ability to print a certificate of completion for any courses you’ve successfully completed through the certificates link from the menu within your student dashboard.

I'm confused about the NAIC regulation. What exactly do I need to complete?

The NAIC Regulation requires all Producers to complete a one time, state approved suitability course for the state(s) in which they are placing business. In addition, each Producer must complete a product specific course for each Carrier he or she represents. The NAIC Regulation requires all Carriers to establish a program to ensure that Producers have met both requirements prior to selling their product. Through our NAIC portal, you are able to select and complete your state’s approved annuities course and product specific course(s) needed to fulfill the NAIC Requirement.

If I complete a State Specific Annuities Training course in my resident state, do I also need to complete an Annuities Training in other States where I sell Annuity Products?

Our Reciprocity functionality allows for Producers to complete multiple state annuity requirements by completing a single state specific course which shares state reciprocity. Once you have successfully completed a State Specific Annuities training course, a new field will appear in your student dashboard displaying the additional states for which you met the live requirement.

Why do I have to use my Social Security Number (SSN) to log in to the NAIC portal?

We understand that your Social Security Number is a very significant personal identifier that Quest CE handles with great importance and confidentiality. Many Carriers and Broker Dealers will be receiving regular feeds of completion information through DTCC which identifies each Producer through their SSN. Rather than using a company specific or internal identifying number, your SSN identifies you across multiple Carriers that you might represent.

Which State Suitability Course do I need to take if I am selling in Colorado and am also a resident of Colorado?

Colorado requires that resident agents complete the Colorado state annuity suitability course and will not accept reciprocal state credit for these residents. If you place business in Colorado but are a resident of a different state, you are not required to complete the Colorado course and have the option to complete a different state course that grants reciprocity back to Colorado.

I completed my state suitability course a while ago and was granted reciprocal credit for a few additional states at that time. Now, there are more states that have recently adopted the NAIC regulation. How do I check to make sure I have received the most up to date reciprocal credits?

If you’ve already completed any given state annuities training course and would like to check to make sure your reciprocal credits are as up to date as possible since the time of your original completion, click the Add Suitability CE tab and proceed to Perform Reciprocity Check. You will be presented with a current list of the available state courses that might not have been available for reciprocity at the time of your original completion. Select each state course to fit your licensing needs and add the courses to you profile. They will immediately be marked complete because of your previous completion(s) that grants reciprocal credit to your additionally selected states.
